What does is take to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program? Out of 3.5 million students who take the PSATs, only 16,000 qualify as Semifinalists by having PSAT scores in the 99th percentile of their state. After submitting grades, essays, recommendations and more, Finalists are chosen, followed by the selection of some 7,500 Merit Scholarship winners. We’re thrilled and blessed to announce that Mary Frances Scheidel ’20 is one of this year’s National Merit Scholarship Finalists! #BecahiProud
